Muscle Shoals Area CFC Exceeds 2016 Goal

“It is truly amazing how the Federal family in the Shoals area dug deep to help those in need,” said Gary Ford, General Manager of TVA Power Service Shops, and Chair of the 2016 Muscle Shoals Area Combined Federal Campaign. “To be able to exceed our campaign goal in these difficult economic times is a testament to each and every one that contributed. I am proud of the Federal Family in the Shoals area.”

The Federal Family includes TVA employees, employees of other Federal agencies such as the Postal Service and Social Security, and TVA retirees.

Support from across the Federal family enabled the 2016 CFC campaign to raise $75,643 for local, national, and international agencies. Ford expressed his appreciation to the donors for their generous support and especially those that made their gifts in spite of facing the possibility of layoffs. This willingness to help those in need speaks volumes about the quality of our Federal family.
